"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Yours truly is a graduate student, majoring in TESOL. Although I call Missouri home, I've had the opportunity to live and work abroad as well.
I'm an avid reader, with tastes ranging from higher education headlines to fan fiction. I enjoy picking out new plants for my mum's garden, and tending to the houseplants I have at home and at the office. Lastly, I'm fond of a good cup of tea or coffee, constantly sampling different varieties at home or visiting my favorite coffee house after work.
On DA, I don't fancy myself an artist. However, I love to browse and comment when I come across something eye-catching. It's a great way to unwind, akin to strolling through a brick and mortar art gallery!
